Is the government of people by people for the people
are one among the good definition of democracy. This was given by the late
Abraham Lincoln means that democracy is all about bringing power to the hands
of the people (majority).
The history shows that this culture was born in ancient
Greeks societies and it has been there days before christ.
The two aforementioned contributors of development
of democracy ; The Greeks and Lincoln both were the theoretical disciples of democracy
and not the perfect people of being example as democratic allied.
How
Africa is the origin of democracy
This democracy which says that was born in ancient Greece
was practically applied in ancient African society centuries before anywhere
else in the globe.
Traditionally African societies had their ways of
solving their problems and making decisions for their development by
discussions for peace and freedom until they get the solution or decisions then
they come up with the agreement. These are very important keys for people’s power
and the real democracy must obey this culture.
In African local languages there is no word or
terminology which is equivalent to the word ‘class’. In any democratic society
is not easy to see the antagonistic classes if this democracy is in practice
and not in words and theories. So the absence of the equivalent word to the
word class in African local languages proves that African societies were
classless society (no antagonistic classes).
History prove the fact that in Africa there were
kings ruled their empires in democratic ways years before coming of the whites
in the continent. This also can be proved by the book of Clutton-Brock.In his
book Nyasaland he described the African tradition of making decision through
the method of discussion then agreement.Clutton used the good phrase that “They
talk till they agree”(Julius Nyerere Freedom and Unity-1965).This gives more
clarification on African tradition of democracy.
How
the western societies denied the principles of real democracy
And even though the westerners (Euro-centric
scholars) were the one who claimed to be the founders of democracy and its operation,
their life in reality were very far from democracy. The British used a lot of
money for the royal family’s expenditures and that money are the taxes of the
poor people who working hard at day and night to pay tax for the development of
all people. In Britain this continues up to the present.
Abraham Lincoln the one who formed a perfect
definition of democracy created such definition while he was in a society which
is full of racism and moreover it was a slave- owning society. So Greeks and
Lincoln preached for what they did not practiced.
Ancient Greeks also neither practiced nor originated
it. In the book of Professor Innocent Onyewuenyi (African the origin of Greeks
Philosophy) he described the history of political development by comparing ancient
societies of Greek, near east and Africa. In chapter 4 pg137 the book states
that(some interpretations are mine)The conflicts among the ancient Greek states
caused by the corruption of the ruling class. The nobles oppressed the peasants
(majority) class by appropriating their lands. So there were two antagonistic
classes existed in ancient Greek societies, the haves and the haves not.
He continued; In Egypt (Africa) the government met
the needs of the people by irrigating the countryside and ensuring the growth
of abundant of food for the satisfaction of all”.
So there were no conflicts in Africa due to the good
government which was there for the benefits of all people contrary to the
Greeks whose stand for the tiny minority of the rich only. So for the fact above,
Democracy is an African culture which has been copied by the western societies
because of its betterment.
And
what they do in the present?
In present we may see how this democracy which means
majority power and welfare of the people has been taken vice versa and been
being practiced in opposite direction.
A good example is when president Mugabe of Zimbabwe
decided to take the land from the tiny white minority to the overwhelming
majority of the Africans of Zimbabwe the western world resisted against him for
his democratic attempt of favoring the rights of the majority. The Zimbabweans
suffered for the economic crisis due to the economic sanctions from western
world which was a punishment to Mugabe due to his action for his people.
In Libya the situation is the same.NATO invaded the
land and killed innocent people only because of a single person who they
claimed that he kills his own people. So how can you stop killings by killings?
And in fact the late Gadaffi was one among the good example of the African
leaders who ruled his country for the benefits of all Libyans. Welfare of the
people was the main issue practiced by his government.
Unexpectedly western countries and their media
started to propagate that he was a dictator and he kill his own people. So they
invaded the land and arresting him while he ruled the country for the benefits
of all people which is the key centre of democracy.
About the same time western countries now especially
in USA the people striking because of poor standard of living which make them
to suffer under capitalism. The Occupy Wall Street(the American Awakening or
the 99 percenters)is the good example that most of the western governments
hypocritically they pretend to preach human right and democracy while they
don’t practice it in reality. The people in strike claim that, neither
Republican nor Democrats has been stand for the majority welfare; they say both
stands for the few lobbyists (rich men) and their interests by any means
necessary.
They preach peace but they are the ones who
organized both first and second world war. Is the war democracy? Or is it human
right? They pretend to preach human rights but they killed thousands of the
Afghans for searching Osama Bin Laden. They killed thousands of Iraq people
while they were looking for a one person Saddam Hussein..
Now Africa must WAKE UP! We must go back to the
truth after a long time of being fooled by their media and western miss-education.
We must say no to their propaganda and lies. We are
the fathers of Democracy. Africa is the birth place of democracy and human
rights because we practiced it before them. For the western people to teach us
about democracy is like the blind man to be a driving school teacher.
JOURNALISTRICS
Their greatest weapon is gun, but a pen is mine
The weapon I use is mightier than the sword
That’s y Malcolm appreciated my work and Twain proved
that we are so powerful by his own words
Jeff Jefferson said he can’t run US with no
media because it is through this he communicated with his people of interior
You can stop me to breath but you can’t stop
the ink which I’m already bleed through my bic
Wrong doers treat me hash and do revenge but I
don’t care, every week am still leak my news like Asange
And even though they can confine me for more
than thirty years like Mumia I will still write what do I know and report to
them live from death raw
I’m not a watch dog as some fools state
I refuse! In any serious state I’ am the fourth
estate
From government which is the first and others
who are the rest, I am still the best because in their relation to one another
they use me to communicate
People say the war is so dangerous because am
the one who shows them how this war is
They say teachers and doctors strikes are so
terrible because I reported them how strikes was
But get the picture about a day when all the
journalists and media expertise will strike
It will be terrible, and No one will get to
know about this strike because the one to report the strike is in the strike
In this morning you will watch your TV but you
see nothing
Put your radio on but there is neither voice
nor song to hear and all newspapers tables in your home town are empty
The president will not know how the people goes
n the people not know what the president does
This career is nothing but to speak the truth. And by any means necessary I must seek for the
proves
So I can go Lake Victoria and ask the water the
truth about the death of Kabendera
Or I can go and ask Ground Zero the truth about
the9 eleven act of terror
Media will always empower the information
because the information is power
So wherever you see the journalists don’t treat
them as the men of underground because they are the ones who make this world go
round
For decades now UN and other institutions have been
trying to stop the armed conflict that wag the eastern part of Congo
albeitthe Conflict take new face every
time.
The current Conflict closely associated with the March
2009 accord, out of which the rebels accuse Kabila’s government to break it.
The rebels baptized themselves “M23” adopted from the March 23rd
2009 agreement between Kinshasa government and the CNDP combatants.
However the International institutions, UN and
other peacemakers instead of focusing on the core problem they stuck on blaming
Rwanda and Uganda as if these two nations are the core keys for DRC problems.
They have forgotten the evolution of M23. The M23
rebels formally belonged to the National pour la Défense du People as well known as National
congress for defense of the people (CNDP) formally founded by Gen. Laurent
Nkunda.
The
CNDP which was growing too strong threatened to overthrow Kabila’s government
Therefore The president entered into a deal with Kagame (President of Rwanda) under
conditions that Rwanda should help to capture Nkunda then Kabila will integrate
CNDP into government that will cooperate with Rwanda to suppress the Democratic
Forces For Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) which is accused for engineering the
1994 Rwanda genocide.
Rwanda as agreed lured Nkunda into a trap then
they arrested him and the business of CNDP was over. Kabila and the CNDP signed
the March 23 accord that required rebel’s integration into the government high
post and in the army. The CNDP was therefore handled the senior command
positions in Amani Leo operation to suppress the FDLR and secure stability in
the eastern Congo. Kabila himself Promoted Ntaganda to a General and assign him
a duty of operation deputy commander.
The Kabila, Kagame and CNDP deal survived for
about two years and of course during this time Congo enjoyed peace and
everybody believed the March 23 agreement to be a promising reconciliation for
Congo lasting crisis.
However thing Turned upside down in
the end 2011 following the western countries pressure to president Kabila to
hand Gen. Bosco Ntaganda to ICC. Ntaganda a Tutsi who Left Rwanda and joined
the military in Congo is accused by the ICC for abducting children and
violating of human rights.
To escape ICC and western Countries threats,
Kabila decided to call up an army reform that ended up detached Ntaganda and
other ex-CNDP men from the army and the government as well. To some extent this
sources the current problem.
The root of the problems emanate from the
bilateral deal between Kinshasa, Kigali and the ex-CNDP Combatants under the leadership
of Bosco Ntaganda. The isolation of Gen.
Ntaganda directly wrecks the deal Between the Three partisan of the March 23
accord.
Kabila's decision to end the operation against
FDLR (Amani Leo) and to detach Ntaganda from the army is an attempt that
dishonors the agreement. First it breaks
the agreement between Kabila and Kagame. The agreement that Kagame will help to
Capture Gen Laurent Nkunda in exchange to Congolese and Rwanda Troops allying
to deal with FDLR.
Then the Isolation of Gen Ntaganda whom Kabila
promised to cooperate and the government attempts to deploy the ex-CNDP soldiers
out of Kivu is against the agreement of the 2009. To defend their interests the
ex-CNDP soldiers withdrew from the Congolese army and reformed the M23 to force
Kabila to concede to their demands.
It also from this Grounds the UN group of
experts is alleging Rwanda for backing the rebels. Yes it might be true that
Rwanda is helping the rebels. But have we ever asked why Rwanda is baking them?
The M23 wants to secure their interest while
on the other hand Rwanda has its interest over security issues that would help
to suppress threat from the FDLR. Kabila Has ruined the agreement that
connected Kinshasa Kigali and the CNDP therefore any attempt that jeopardize
the interests of M23 will also affect the security interests of Rwanda.
In
these grounds Kagame considered the enemy of his enemy a “friend” and even if
it was Kabila on the same side that Rwanda is right now he would do the same.
Congo is trying to protect its interests in the expense of Rwanda and CNDP
that’s why the Congo crisis won’tget
lasting solutions because Kabila doesn’t understand that the fate of this
crisis lies on his hands and the best way is to come into concession and not to
blame Rwanda
